Conan the Librarian:

When Conan went out on an errand the other day, he encountered a woman struggling to decipher our street sign.  “Is this a bookstore?”
If you can’t read our sign, you don’t need our product.

“Are all the books here the same price?”
“A rose is a rose is a rose,” Gertrude Stein opined, but our mind flowers are graded according to condition, desirability and rarity.

One of the odd things that occurred this month was someone faxing us our own fax number.

Oddest title of a book sold last month: “The Day My Bum Went Psycho,” bought by a woman who requested
“On the Bright Side, I'm the Girlfriend of a Sex God" and "It's OK, I'm Wearing Really Big Knickers."

Title of the optimist of the month goes to the person who called demanding that we reschedule our monthly speaker because “I have a conflict on that day.”
