On Sunday, 27 November 2005, columnist (Tokyo Confidential) and author (Shocking Crimes of Postwar Japan, The Dark Side) Mark Schreiber will describe mining Japan's weekly tabloids for tales of sex, crime, and the bizarre as he presents "Japan, the Quirky, and Myself." This will be Mark’s second BOOKNOTES presentation. His first, “Take a Walk on The Dark Side,” was very well received.
